2. Donating On-Line!
3. Donating Shares of Appreciated Stock. Make a gift of stock to the Urban League and you will receive a two-fold tax savings. First, you avoid paying any capital gains tax on the increase in the value of your stock. In addition, you will receive a tax deduction for the full fair market value of the stock on the date of your gift.
4. Making a Planned Gift. As you consider your estate plan options, name the Quad County Urban League as a beneficiary in your will or make a planned gift to the League. Planned gifts are designed to ensure that your charitable intent supports your charity of choice in perpetuity. So, consider a bequest or charitable trust today.
5. Contributing your time. The League welcomes volunteer to assist with special events, programs, and services. Also, we need committed people to serve as tutors, mentors, workshops presenters, and administrative assistants.
6. Creating a Legacy Build a legacy with our recognition and permanent naming opportunities to be listed on our donor wall.
