  1. The applicant must be at least twenty (20) and under thirty-five (35) years of age at the
    time of written examination but must be at least twenty-one (21) and under thirty-six
    (36) years of age at time of appointment.
  2. The applicant must be a United States citizen.
  3. The applicant must be able to pass physical agility standards for a police officer as
    established by the Illinois Training and Standards Board at the time of the written test
    during the application process.
  4. Vision must be 20/20 with both eyes open or correctable to 20/20 with corrective lenses.
  5. The applicant must be able to pass a thorough background check.
  6. The applicant must possess a valid driver's license at the time of testing.

The applicant must have achieved a high school diploma with a grade point average of
2.5 out of 4.0 (or an equivalent on a scale with a maximum grade point average other
than 4.0), or a G.E.D. with a minimum composite score of no less than 2480 points, or
at least sixteen (16) hours of college credit with a grade point average of 2.5 out of 4.0
(or an equivalent on a scale with a maximum grade point average other than 4.0)
regardless of high school grade point average or G.E.D. composite score.

1 Label Press Operator - PM

Positions Description: Experienced flexographic press operators. Mark Andy and UV experience preferred. Should be able to run up to 6 colors. Operator is responsible for adjusting and maintaining all press components. Salary based on experience. Must be able to set up and run a Flexo press up to six colors according to label production orders and press procedures. Capable of setting up print stations and setting print to meet print quality standards. Must maintain inks and plates to assure print quality and low scrap.


Machine Shop - General Machinist

Position Description:  Perform progressive machining and assembly operations on equipment or experimental and development work. Set up and operate various types of machine tools, vertical mill, precision lathes, surface grinder, hand break, press brake, drill press, automatic power cut-off saw, power band tolls (electrical and pneumatic) perform hand operations such as filing, fitting, taping, etc. Maintain close tolerance requiring care in tool setting and machining methods including a normal range of machining operations. Perform repairs requiring machining and rebuilding of existing equipment. Over three years experience required.


Label Systems Engineer

Position Description: Provide technical support on Labeling Systems products to the Service, Sales and other departments. Assist in recommending Labeling Systems products and accessories to sales and providing pricing on these products as per corporate guidelines.

Requirements and Responsibilities: Review and edit Labeling Systems product orders and product site surveys to insure that they will meet the customer requirements and will be properly processed by other departments. The position also involves performing on-site evaluations, assisting with installations, performing both in-house and in-field product demonstrations and providing customer training. College graduate with previous experience in the support, installation, and/or servicing of Label Application Systems.


Prepress Technician PM

Position Description: Primary duties include mounting printing plates, retrieving dies, print cylinders, inks, and other miscellaneous tooling required for a label order. Also responsible for maintaining organization and cleanliness in the prepress area.

Requirements and Responsibilities: Requires the used of simple arithmetic as well as measuring instruments such as a scale. Requires the keeping and understanding of necessary records. Must be able to lift 45+ pounds. PM Shift.
