IL-Works Pre-apprenticeship
Training Program

Introducing Illinois Works' FREE Pre-apprenticeship training program that will prepare you to successfully transition to a Department of Labor registered apprenticeship program in the building & construction trades!

Program Details

WHO CAN APPLY?

  • Open to all Illinois residents

  • Welcoming individuals from all career backgrounds

  • Open to those with or without prior construction experience

WHAT IS OFFERED?

  • Interactive Classroom Instruction

  • Industry recognized certifications (NCCER, OSHA 10, First Aid/CPR)

  • Student Support (tutoring)

  • Hands -on experience and training

  • No-cost tuition

REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum age of 18 years

  • High school Diploma/ GED

  • State ID or Drivers License

  • Schedule an intake appointment
